Q&A with Shawnee’s Lillian Satterfield – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Lillian: I am a freshman at Shawnee High School where I play volleyball and soccer. I also currently play club volleyball.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Lillian: My favorite accomplishment is when I overcame my fear and tried out for Volleyball.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Lillian: My soccer teammate Quinn Gammill has definitely left the biggest impression on me.  We played club soccer together for most of our lives and she always made practice so much funner and is still one of my best friends.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Lillian: I look up to women’s volleyball player Bergen Reilly because she is a two-time All-American, two-time State Champion and three-time Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Lillian: I look up to my Grandma Shelley. She has been through a lot and still manages to be the most joyful and caring person I know.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Lillian: My favorite teacher is Mrs. M from Jefferson Elementary School in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  She made learning fun and was always helpful in class.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Lillian: My favorite meal right now is definitely Nacho Fries, Cheesy Roll Up and Baja Blast from Taco Bell.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Lillian: My dream summer vacation would be a trip to Fiji with my best friend Ary.

Lillian: I would like to give a shout out to my Dad for always driving far distances for practice, games and tournaments.
