OFFENSE
QB – Abe Gomez – Holdenville
Abe Gomez rushed for around 200 yards his freshmen season, over 800 his sophomore season, and over 1,600 his junior year. He increased his yards-per-carry from 5.9 to 9.6. He has 42 rushing TDs for his career. He is a great leader for our team. Mind you, he has hit these numbers with everyone knowing we are not passing it and incorporating 10- and 11-man boxes versus us.
RB – Memphis Thionnet – Holdenville
Memphis Thionnet is following up a great junior year which recorded him rushing for 794 yards with 9.3 yards-per-carry and 12 touchdowns.
WR/TE – Tyson Hawkins – North Rock Creek
Tyson is a really good athlete and smart player. He has big play making ability and can make the difficult catch on offense. On defense he is always where he needs to be and has great instincts for the ball.
OL – Major Bryant – Tecumseh
The starting center for the Savages, Major Bryant has shown he is capable of leading an offensive line and playing the physical brand of football the coaching staff demands.
DEFENSE
DL – Chris Gonzales – North Rock Creek
Coming off a junior season that witnessed Chris Gonzales record 36 tackles has only served to motivate the big man up front. Look for Gonzales to continue making plays and forcing opponents to adjust to his play style.
LB – Issac McAlister – Tecumseh
An outside linebacker for the Savages, Isaac McAlister brings a full toolbox to the defense. His leadership and play helps set the tone for Tecumseh.
DB – RJ Lowe – Holdenville
Last season as a sophomore, RJ Lowe played a big role for the Holdenville defense registering 73 tackles, 3 interceptions and 4 pass break-ups. His outstanding ability to find the football makes him a dangerous player to test in the secondary.
