Shawnee High School senior Thurman Lee has been named to the 2023 Oklahoma Coaches
Association All-State East swim team.
Shawnee head coach Valarie Colburn said Lee “consistently performed at a high standard.”
On Lee and his teammates Natalie Selman and Ethan Oller, Colburn said, “I also admired them
for their excellent and well-rounded performances, their ability and leadership qualities.”
Lee was also named an All-City selection by The Oklahoman. He won third in the 200 freestyle
at the 2022 5A state swim championships.
