North Rock Creek’s Carson Click Signs to USAO – Presented by Natalie Arnett State Farm

Carson Click is always ready to compete on the golf course for North Rock Creek High School. He works for a win but values the importance of leaving a good impression on others. “Upholding the reputation of the school is just as important if not more important than wins,” he says.

Carson, now a NRC Alumni, was on the golf course with his dad as a three-year-old. “I played here and there ever since but I really got into it during my freshman year. After that I quit my other sports and focused on golf,” he said.

Qualifying for state as a junior is an accomplishment Carson is proud of. “My favorite memory is going up and staying with my team at Shangri La during the state preview and state tournament. I love my team and how we all work together and encourage each other. We’re all very competitive and push each other to be our best,” says Carson.

Golf taught Carson about patience. “If you put in the work, time and effort, you will see it pay off. I feel as if there are always ways to improve and get better within the game, no matter how good I get. I can always work on my game and myself. I want to be as good as I can possibly be,” he said.

He thanks the people in his life who have been by his side. “My parents have always supported me and encouraged me in everything that I do. I want to thank my coach for helping me get to where I am today with golf and for being very supportive. I also want to thank my grandparents and girlfriend for showing up to all of my events and cheering me on,” says Carson.

Free time is best spent with family and friends. Carson’s most memorable vacations were going to Rosemary Beach and Crested Butte with his family. He can also be found playing pickleball with his girlfriend, watching movies and playing video games.

Carson has committed to play golf at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) while majoring in biology to pursue a career in medicine.

Congratulations Carson on all your hard work and best of luck to you at USAO!
